About
I am a full-time freelancer specializing in print design, desktop publishing, photography and small-site web design. I have more than 20 years experience and a B.A. in art/design from Cal Poly Pomona.
If necessary, I am able to develop a project completely from initial concept to final output. I can work with marketing departments, create a timeline, manage other designers and production staff, coordinate various kinds of outside services (including pre-press and printing), locate and direct local vendors.
I have extensive experience with commercial printing and digital pre-press: all kinds of printing services (sheet-fed, web, digital, specialty, bindery, fulfillment), service bureaus, digital output, color proofing, traditional and digital photography.
I can draw and paint with traditional or digital media; I can write copy and have written and illustrated several “how-to” installtion instruction sheets/booklets to accompany packaging design projects.
My studio is equipped with following applications:
Adobe Creative Suite (CS4 and previous versions): PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks
Freehand; QuarkXpress; Painter; Keynote (and Powerpoint if necessary), Pages (or Word). This site was designed with Freeway.
