Album art for iTunes can make or break your podcast. It can be difficult to design imagery that looks good in an app store. That can be the single reason a potential customer clicks on your app—it has to tell your story in microseconds.
I have been designing most of the art for Leo Laporte's TWiT (This Week in Tech) network since the iTunes store started offering podcast downloads. Our art was one of the first to be featured when Apple introduced it, and when they redesigned the interface to have larger banner "posters." The ones shown here are some of my favorites. (Please note, I did not do any of the character art/cartoon-style portraits on these albums, that's done by a fantastic illustrator named Nitrozac of the Joy of Tech comic strip.)
